What a mess this was. First, I LOVE Steve Carell and everything he's done up until this movie. I also loved the original TV series. I was so confused because Carell's character was bumbling one minute and brilliant the next. On the TV series he was always bumbling. I didn't laugh once the entire first 30 minutes until I couldn't take it anymore and left. A handful of baked college stoners laughed at everything, so apparently smoking before you see the movie is a great idea.
